Publish stories to the Class Library

Last Updated: May 25, 2018 05:30PM EDT
Student stories are automatically published into your Class library as they are completed. And, if you've issued an assignment, stories will also pool into assignment-specific sub-libraries.

How does a student complete a story?

How will my students collaborate or comment on other students' stories?
Your students can find, read, and comment on each other's creations when they're linked together in a Class. When your students want to collaborate on a picture book, they'll have a Class list of collaborators from which to choose. They'll also see each others' work in your class library and through search, so they can easily find stories and comment on them.

Can my students publish public stories?
No. Student stories and poems are private and not included in the public library. Students who want to regularly publish public stories/poems, or use Storybird outside of class, should create regular accounts with parent permission.

Why do I see a lot of stories on my Class Dashboard that are not in the Class Library?
You are able to review stories in Draft mode on your Class Dashboard. Students only see Published stories.
