How can I connect to my child’s student account?
Your teacher can invite you by adding your email address to your child’s account, or sending a paper invitation home with your child. Both methods will issue you an email which invites you to connect. If you accept the email invitation, you will connect to your child’s classroom account, and be able to view their classwork.
What does Connecting to my child’s student account do?
Connecting lets you view your child’s classwork, receive notifications about their classroom writing activity, and and back up their stories to a personal account when class is over so they can keep writing.
How can I keep copies of my child's stories without buying anything?
When class is over, we'll send you an email that will allow you to save a copy of their stories into a new personal account. Your child's teacher also has access to a textual archive of all student work.
What happens when class is over?
Your child will no longer have access to their student account once class is over, but will be able to log in to their new personal account to access the stories they created at school. We’ll send you an email to remind you to do that when class is over.
